NOURISHED FUTURES
Nutrition for Every Child, Everywhere
Hunger isn’t the absence of food. It’s the absence of systems that nourish.
We need systems that nourish.
Ingredients that children can count on, every single day.
Nourishment that comes from fields, kitchens, and communities.
Nutrition is a right.
Not a variable.
Equitable nutrition is the foundation of cognitive development, school performance, immune function, and long-term productivity.
When nutrition fails early, inequality hardens for life. Treating malnutrition after it appears is expensive.
“I used to think nutrition was something only doctors knew. Now we teach each other.”
Amina, community nutrition leader, Kenya
Hunger looks different everywhere.
But the cause is familiar :
When food, knowledge, and access don’t connect.
148 million children are stunted.
45% of child deaths are linked to undernutrition.
Not because there isn’t food.
But because systems fail before the plate
Data that feeds impact.
Each line and percentage below reflects real change in children’s lives. From vitamins distributed to school meals served. Behind every number is a story of growth, energy, and opportunity.
Over the first five months of implementation, Nourished Futures reached tens of thousands of children and families through coordinated nutrition actions.
Vitamin supplementation and growth screenings have shown steady, measurable growth with a 400% increase in reach since January.
Community feeding sessions continue to rise as local volunteers and mothers’ groups take the lead in preparing balanced, fortified meals using locally grown ingredients.
The activity breakdown highlights a balanced approach between direct nutrition support, school meals, and long-term awareness efforts. Nearly one-third of project resources are devoted to supplement distribution, while another quarter supports nutritious school feeding. Ensuring that children not only eat, but learn and thrive.
